The Y Stanthorpe Fitness, Recreation & Aquatic Centre hosts the only public pool available in Stanthorpe. Our 8-lane, 50-metre Olympic swimming pool (conventional heating with solar assistance) is ideal for those who swim casually, those who are learning to swim, and those who enjoy hardcore training.

At the Y, we are passionate about teaching everyone how to become safer and more confident in and around water. From babies to school-age children to adults, our learn-to-swim lessons are tailored to nurture confident swimmers who embrace the water with joy!

Swimmers of all ages and all levels are welcome at our pool.

LEARN TO SWIM

UNDER 5 YEARS OLD

Lessons start at 6-month old through to school-age children. Have fun and make friends learning the important skill of swimming. Our swimming program is conducted by our specially qualified swimming teachers.

Our fun yet safe environment includes activities to stimulate fine motor skills and foot/hand/eye coordination.

It’s never too late to learn how to swim or improve your technique! Whether you are a non-swimmer or just looking for some stroke correction – Adult Learn to Swim caters to all abilities of swimming.

We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels in both our indoor and outdoor pools. Classes are available all year round and run for 30 minutes.

AT THE Y STANTHORPE

Our Stanthorpe pool is open for casual use to anyone who wants to do laps, relax in the water or splash around. Swimmers have the option to purchase a single entry pass, 10-visit pass, 25-visit pass or season pass. All visit passes are valid for 6 months from purchase date.
